Acupuncture is a 4.000 year old, mainly Chinese, method of treatment using needles to achieve harmonization of the entire body. Many ailments can be mitigated or even healed by this benevolent and natural mode of treatment. Just why these fine needles can bring relief is an ancient medical mystery. However, it is indisputably clear to a lot of patients, doctors, health insurances and even the World Health Organization that this method works! We distinguish between the so called “body“ and “ear“ acupuncture. Both methods can be utilised either alone or in combination. Our surgery normally offers you a combination of both methods.
  • Tension: migrains, headaches, globus sensation, cervical syndrome
  • Neuralgia: trigeminal neuralgia, herpes zoster
  • Chronic tinnitus
  • Dizziness: Morbus Meniere, systematic forms of vertigo
  • Various allergies: pollen, animal hairs, skin allergies, neurodermitis
  • Chronic organic diseases: laryngeal, sinus or bronchial diseases
  • Sleeping disorders
  • Treatment of nicotine dependency

Acupuncture is also used successfully for smoking cessation.
Acupuncture calms the autonomous nervous system, leading to the reduction of withdrawal symptoms. This helps, when you want to stop smoking.
Acupuncture can only be successful if you are willing to pull through with the nicotine
cessation. Ideally, you should be smoke-free 24 to 48 hours prior to therapy.
